Meet Our Staff
Beth Scalone, PT, DPT, OCS
Beth is a licensed physical therapist specializing in orthopedic and aquatic therapy. As the owner of North County Water & Sports Therapy Center it is her goal to provide quality one on one care to a variety of patients.
Since graduating from the University of Connecticut in 1991 Beth has belonged to the American Physical Therapy Association and has achieved Certification and re-certification as a clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy, by demonstrating specialized knowledge and advanced clinical proficiency in respect to orthopedic diagnoses. In January 2006, Beth graduated from Boston University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
As a Certified STOTT Pilates™ instructor, Beth incorporates the use of Pilates basic principles and equipment into patient exercise programs to enhance their core stability and postural awareness. This method has been extremely successful in transitioning patients to a higher level of function and activity.
Beth is an Aquatic Therapy Rehabilitation Institute Certified therapist. In 2010, Beth was honored with Aquatic Therapy Rehabilitation Institute’s Tsunami Spirit award for her contribution to aquatic therapy education. In 2012 she was named Aquatic Therapy Professional of the year. In 2015 the Aquatic Section of the APTA presented Beth with the Judy Cirullo Ward in recognition of her promotion of aquatic therapy. Additional aquatic therapy certifications include, Master Instructor for the Burdenko Method and Trainer for AquaStretch™ a new myofascial release technique performed in the water.
Beth not only provides continuing education for health care professionals she provides the learning module/ instruction on aquatic therapy to the University of St. Augustine San Diego Campus DPT program. Previously Beth was an adjunct faculty member at San Diego Mesa College PTA program, teaching Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Introduction to Pathology courses.
Hiking and adventure travel keeps Beth busy when she is not at work.
Ryann (Cramer) Cacciotti, DPT, MTC, CSCS
Ryann has had a long involvement with physical therapy, from her first exposure as a patient in her youth while a dancer and volleyball player. She has worked continually in the field since 1998, when she began work as a physical therapy aide while still an undergraduate. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree from CSU San Marcos, she decided to pursue a career in physical therapy and earned a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Cerritos College in 2005. She followed that in 2009 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, where she was awarded the Outstanding Physical Therapy Student and Excellence in Manual Therapy awards for her graduating class. In 2010, Ryann received her Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
Ryann has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2004 and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 2005. In 2011, she joined the faculty at University of St. Augustine, teaching courses in anatomy and manual therapy. Ryann spends her “free” time volunteering with local charities as a committee member/team captain for American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and a regular participant in the San Diego Triathlon Challenge for the Challenged Athletes Foundation. She is an avid runner and hiker and enjoys almost anything having to do with food. She doesn’t eat to live, she lives to eat!
Jacqueline Becker, DPT
Jackie has been with North County Water & Sports Therapy Center since joining the team in 2014. After graduating with her Bachelor of Science from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2005, she attended physical therapy school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. At graduation in 2009, Jackie received an award for Excellence in Service to the community, and Academic Excellence. In 2010, she was honored with the Stanley S Bergen Award of Excellence from UMDNJ for her continued involvement in the community. Since graduation, Jackie has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient/orthopedic, home care, and in-patient hospital based environments. She likes to stay involved with the physical therapy education community by working with current physical therapy student interns.
She believes the key to effective rehabilitation is education and prevention. When patients have a complete understanding of their condition the likelihood of re-injury is reduced and their ability to return to normal activities is significantly improved. Jackie treats all type of orthopedic and neurologic disorders, but her passion is working with the geriatric population and maximizing their function and quality of life. She earned her Graston Certification in 2010, which is an instrument assisted soft tissue technique.
During her free time she likes to explore new restaurants with her husband, sew, read, ride her beach cruiser, hang at the beach, and play with her daughter.
Jordan Levine, DPT
Jordan is the newest member of North County Water and Sports Therapy Center, joining the team in 2016. Jordan’s first exposure to physical therapy came as an injured high school baseball player and slowly grew to a passion for the field over several years of receiving therapy and sports training. Jordan graduated from San Diego State University in 2009 with a B.S. Degree in Kinesiology followed by an A.S. Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from San Diego Mesa College in 2011. Jordan went on to work as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the acute hospital and outpatient orthopedic settings while simultaneous enrollment in Physical Therapy School. Jordan went on to achieve his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2015, graduating with high honors.
Jordan has a strong interest in functional exercise but does not prescribe to the philosophy “no pain, no gain”. Instead he believes exercising smarter not harder is essential to rehabilitation and returning to activity pain free. In his free time he enjoys camping, hiking, running, kettlebell lifting and spending quality time with his family and girlfriend.
Jan Ballard, PTA
Jan is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant who graduated from San Diego Mesa College in 1998. Over the last several years she has worked with a variety of patients with various musculoskeletal, neurological and medical problems. Jan has several years of experience in aquatic therapy and is a certified clinical instructor for the Burdenko method. Jan’s dedication and experience shows through at our clinic by teaming with the primary therapist providing individual patient focused care.
When she is not working Jan enjoys kayaking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Bettina Ponce
Bettina join our practice as Office Manager in 2016. She graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology.
Bettina started off as a Physical therapy Aide at outpatient PT clinics in San Diego then transition to Administrative Assistant position. Bettina has been working in the healthcare field since 2005.
Outside from work, Bettina enjoys participating in 5K/10K runs, staying active and spending time with her family.
Brooke Fellows
Brooke Fellows has been with the company since 2002. She joined the staff as a physical therapy aide and now specializes in personal training with an emphasis in injury recovery and prevention. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Brooke has been working in personal training for over 11 years and now runs her own business: Fellows Fitness. Her services include IN-HOME personal training, training at our facility, group training and water workouts. Brooke has experience in a variety of populations such as weight loss, sports training, post injury, and neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson’s and Huntington’s.
In her free time Brooke enjoys running, hiking, and spending time near the coast.

Britani Quindoza
Britani joined North County Water and Sports Therapy Center as a Physical Therapy Aide/Front Office Assistant in 2014. Her interest in Physical Therapy stemmed from her love of sports and dance, intrigued by human anatomy and the movement of the body. This interest continued when she attended college at Cal Poly Pomona in 2008 where she majored in Exercise Science. As a student, Britani interned and worked as a PT aide for multiple outpatient PT clinics throughout Orange County and San Diego. In 2014, Britani transferred to Point Loma Nazarene University and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Applied Health Science in 2015. Shortly after graduation, Britani left NCWSTC for maternity leave and after 6 months of being a stay-at-home mom, Britani decided to rejoin the team in 2016.
Britani is a wife and a mom to a toddler boy and baby girl. Born and raised in San Diego, Britani loves all things fun in the sun. She enjoys mini road trips and outdoorsy adventures with her husband, taking her kids to amusement parks, teaching her son new sports, mastering new DIY arts & crafts/foods off Pinterest, and finding different ways of working out while incorporating her kids into her exercises.
